Morente Live Passion Week

Surely, the first time I met really exposed to the immense talent of Enrique Morente should be back in 1995, when collaborating in that radio program so beautiful and fun as dangerous to the integrity of their (ir) responsible called Vatican 2 , which was broadcast on Radio Vallekas . The tune was the Kyrie of his startling Flemish Mass, and week after week the chill was almost assured to listen. Not much later came to these ears the immeasurable Omega, and then ... everything else. As a torrent.

Much more than a vocal quality beyond doubt, having been able to approach (and mix it with) so many things without detracting neither one nor the other, following a relentless search instinct. And thrilling and strangers on the road. Something extremely difficult to get and extremely rare to see in any musical genre.

What I could not see at the time, by an unfortunate and absurd domestic dispute, was their way through the program missed TVE Seventh Cavalry . Something I'll regret forever. Fortunately, we have the Youtube to enjoy at least a few minutes Heron . And, of course, we are left to enjoy his enormous work for years and years. Thank you and goodbye, Morente. We're not sad, because there is much that we let ...
